Exterior
Most houses require water blasting.
All surfaces are sanded and loose material removed.
All bare timber is primed.
Two coats of quality acrylic paint are applied to weather boards.
Windows and doors are painted with two coats of enamel paint.
All surfaces are sanded between each coat.
Specialist finishes
I offer application of specialist finishes on request such as:
- Graffiti Guard

- Fire-retardant
- Flooring (including non-slip) and water proofing products
- Low-odour, low-dust and low-irritant services where important e.g. allergies
- Decorative finishes (plastering, marbling, metallic)
- Spray plastering will get you to a Level 5 skim finish

We have a treasured family Bach in Waihi Beach. I contacted Mike through a friend’s recommendation (he had also repainted the roof 2 years earlier) to repaint the Kitchen & Bathroom. Our Bach is the hub of our very large family and we wanted its internal colours to reflect the feeling we all get when we are there. Mike was very helpful with colour selection, advice on extra jobs that could easily be done during the repaint and even emailed me photo updates of his progress!

Mike O’Neill of Truetrade Painters did an excellent job painting the outside of our house and we have recommended him to friends. He is more than an excellent painter. His quoting was very competitive and included all aspects of the job.
